Missouri Court of Appeals Holds Oral Arguments At William Jewell College

It was a big week for William Jewell College.  On Monday January 22, 2018, the Missouri Court of Appeals held oral arguments on the campus of William Jewell College.  The three judge panel consisted entirely of William Jewell graduates – Chief Justice Zel Fischer, Judge Cynthia L. Martin and Judge Gary Witt.  For any students considering a career in law, William Jewell College proves a formidable training ground.

Kapke & Willerth attorney George Kapke, also a William Jewell College graduate, was among the counsel appearing before the three judge panel at William Jewell College.

The week got substantially more exciting for Cardinal fans on Tuesday January 23, 2018, when the William Jewell Cardinals defeated the UMKC Roos 86-74.  The win marked Coach Holley’s 902nd career victory.
